Kunst på arbeidsplassen (art at the workplace) rents out art to businesses and organisations across Norway, and holds a collection of over 6,000 artworks by 700 artists. Oslo Open and Kpa have entered into a three-year partnership agreement. Each year, Kpa will purchase at least one artwork by an artist participating in Oslo Open. As a result, an increasing number of Oslo-based artists will become part of the collection.

On Friday, 17 April, 09:00–16:00, Mesén invites you to the conference “Voices in Public Art: Mapping Freedom of Speech and Expression in the Nordic Region,” held at the University Aula in Oslo.

Which forces are attempting to restrict freedom of expression, and how does this affect art and public discourse? The conference will highlight key issues regarding art, democracy, and freedom of speech, featuring perspectives from across the Nordic region. Mesén is an art producer specializing in curating, production, and mediation of art in public space.

Norwegian Crafts is a non-profit organisation, founded by the Norwegian Association for Arts and Crafts in 2012, with the aim to strengthen the position of contemporary crafts from Norway internationally. Norwegian Crafts is a collaboration partner for our international visitors program, where we invite curators and other art professionals from abroad to visit Oslo artists.

Oslo Art Guide is a free guide and a digital tool to the contemporary art scene in Oslo.

Over four days, 28–31 May, 50 art institutions in Oslo come together for a full program of exhibitions, performances, film screenings, guided tours and more. Oslo Open and Oslo Art Weekend collaborate on an International Visitors Program, bringing curators and other professionals from all around the world to Oslo to meet artists and get an overview of the Oslo arts scene.

ROM is an Oslo-based meeting place dedicated to the intersection of the fields of art, architecture, placemaking, and public space. ROM is a platform facilitates exhibitions, film screenings, lectures, and text publishing, and enables new multidisciplinary networks and relations to form. Oslo Open and ROM collaborates on a workshop about access during Oslo Open, and Uke 35, an annual interdisciplinary festival of art, architecture, urban development, and public space.

Tim Wendelboe is a world-renowned coffee roaster, with an espresso bar in Grünerløkka. In addition to delivering coffee to private customers and restaurants, they also have B2B coffee solutions for offices, studios and companies.

TrAP is an independent arts production company. Their aim is to increase diversity within Norwegian arts and culture. During Oslo Open this year, TrAP opens their office space as a temporary showroom and studio for four artists who do not have a studio space in Oslo.

VISP is a resource and a networking organisation for the Visual Arts in Norway, and we work to improve and facilitate conditions for the production and dissemination of Visual Arts. During Oslo Open, we collaborate on a session where artists can present their portfolio to curators in Oslo.
