Jasmine Hedermo-Hendouzi

(She/her)
Address: STUDIO HAGEGATA/HOODPOTTERY, Hagegata 54, 0653 Oslo
Floor: 1
The studio is open Sunday 19 April from 12-17

I’m expressing subjects like dreams, inner dynamics, collective archetypes and nature thru ceramic, etchings, woodcutts and paintings. My style is raw, subtile, dreamy, functional and i use colours on different pieces to make it vibrate good together. My inspiration comes from my 2 different heritage, motherhood, streetart, Sahara-dessert, dreams and inner/collective explorations.

The image is an abstract work of art in black and white with touches of ochre or brown, depicting what appears to be an insect, possibly a scorpion, amidst rough, vertical strokes that may resemble reeds or grass. The image is characterized by expressive brushstrokes and squid ink that give it a dynamic and raw feel.
Identity, Jasmine Hedermo Hendouzi, Drawing with charcoal, coffee, liquid marker, 21x29 cm, 2025, Asker art school, Jasmine Hedermo-Hendouzi.
• The painting is an abstract/figurative work in warm red and orange tones.

• It depicts a stylized four-legged animal with a green horn and pink tongue reaching out towards a blue, humanoid silhouette.

• In the middle is a geometric pattern, and at the bottom are smaller figures, including a green, articulated creature and a person at a table.

• The colors are intense, and the work has a primitive aesthetic.
