I work with site-specific works that combine handwoven textiles, sculpture, and photography. Through my work, I investigate materiality, decay, transience, and humanity’s influence on the environment. Photographs of architectural structures and urban development often serve as points of departure for further processing. In exhibition contexts, I seek to create quiet spaces that slow the pace of the cityscape and engage the body.

The image shows the innermost room of RAM Galleri. Centrally placed on the floor is a cube-shaped compost bin. The base of the cube is filled with cut bricks.

On the back wall, starting from the left, five small photographs in identical frames are mounted in a horizontal row. The motifs are taken in Kvadraturen, the area in which the gallery is located, and depict urban details such as temporary scaffolding, pipes, and passageways. One of the photographs also shows trees from Paléalléen in the lower part of Kvadraturen.

On the right wall hangs a long, narrow handwoven textile in an ice-blue tone. The textile is attached at the top and at two points along its length with horizontal copper pipes. At the bottom, the textile ends in long fringes that hang freely toward the floor. The motif in the ice-blue textile is based on a photograph from Paléalléen.
