Ingrid Torvund (b. 1985) is a visual artist based in Oslo and Kviteseid. She works with film, installation, sculpture, and drawing, developing staged, tactile environments through handmade costumes, scenography, and performative elements. Her work explores rituals, sleep, nature, and superstition, often through mythic narratives with elements of sci-fi. Torvund works closely in collaboration with artist Jonas Mailand, including on the art film series Seeper Weeper Sleeper, which combines film, sound, and sculptural installations.
