Concertina books by their very nature occupy 3 dimensional space. The panels as they fall naturally fold in and out creating shadows on the wall and animating the interest of viewers as they jut out and recede in a primal rhythm.
I don’t change the subject with each beat but rather continues the smooth unfolding of the narrative as it descends from ceiling to floor. A thread, a story stretches out before your eyes in space and time.
