MARIUS PRESTERUD is a Norwegian artist working between Berlin and Oslo. His interdisciplinary practice spans performance, poetry, sculpture, and ecological intervention, often rooted in dark ecology and deep adaptation.

Presterud has toured extensively as a poet, and performed and exhibited at established institutions including Henie Onstad Kunstsenter (2016), Galleri F15 (2016), Kunstnernes Hus (2018) and the Association of Norwegian Sculptors (2023) in Norway; and Hamburger Bahnhof (2017) and Exgirlfriend Gallery (2021), in Germany, as well as Gallery Oblong (2025), in Denmark.

During the period 2014–2019, he ran the artistic practice Oslo Apiary & Aviary, which he describes as a ‘dark-ecological service provider’, operating among other places from the rooftop of The Artists House (Kunstnernes Hus), in down-town Oslo. He also collaborated with the international artist collective Futurefarmers (USA/BE) on the experimental commons project ‘Losæter’ in Bjørvika.
